About me

Where I grew up, competitive swimming wasn’t really an option, but both of my parents had a pool and I was in the water every single chance I could get. Much of my formal instruction came from Camp Honey Creek for Girls in Hunt, TX. There I not only learned the strokes, but I also competed in races, went through lifeguard training, and even did synchronized swimming! If it involved the water, I was there!

I have always had a passion for teaching and have been taking care of children for as long as I can remember. Whether that was babysitting, nannying, being a camp counselor, or teaching swimming. I started my swim lesson journey in 2011 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and immediately fell in love with it. I have been teaching lessons ever since! I enjoy teaching all ages and skill levels and the different challenges that they each bring. I love being able to be a small part in giving each person that goes through lessons a gift for the rest of their life!

I haven’t lived in San Antonio for very long but I’m excited for all the new opportunities here! Everyone at MGRSS is so helpful, friendly, and inviting and I love that I get to be a part of this family!
