I started my swim career at the young age of 3 based on his pediatrician’s recommendation that it would help with my asthma. By age five, my family and I moved overseas for nine years which allowed me to competitively across three continents! My asthma was effectively mitigated by age 12 and never had to use an inhaler again. Continuing my love of the water, I tried out and was accepted to the Stone Harbor Beach Patrol for two summers during high school. During high school, I was a Four-Time All County, Four-Time All State and Two Time All American Swimmer. Upon graduating, I accepted a Division 1 Swim Scholarship to Fairfeld University, but after a semester, decided to enlist in the Coast Guard and following my dreams of helping others and assisting in search and rescue operations.
